Here is why we highly recommend you to include vitamin C serum in your weekly skincare routine as well liposomal vitamin C in your daily nutritional uptake. Collagen formation Studies indicate that vitamin C is required for the manufacture of the collagen and stabilise the messenger molecules that encode proteins for the repair of damaged skin. The effects of vitamin C are not clear however increasing dietary intake of vitamin C has been correlated with a decreased risk of dry skin. Studies indicate that vitamin C enhances the production of barrier lipids, called ceramides, which protect skin against water loss.
